Dubai took another huge step toward the ABA League championship by defeating Partizan 86-81 in Game 2 of the finals. The Emirati team overcame another demanding contest and now sits just one victory away from claiming the title.
The game went into halftime tied at 42, after a first half in which Partizan tried to rely on individual talent to set the pace. However, as had happened in the first game of the series, Dubai raised its level after the break and found better answers in the decisive moments.
Dzanan Musa and Aleksa Avramovic were the main offensive forces for the winning team, both with 16 points. Mfiondu Kabengele also proved important with 13 points, providing interior presence and balance in a final stretch where Dubai imposed its energy.
Partizan competed until the end but could not avoid another defeat. Bruno Fernando, with 16 points, and Carlik Jones, with 15, were the standouts for the Serbian team.
With this 86-81 victory, Dubai confirms its strong form in the finals and leaves Partizan against the ropes. The Emirati team is just one win away from lifting the ABA League title.
