statistics

The Valencia side took control of the game from the opening minutes against a Barcelona team that never found offensive continuity. The Blaugrana had many problems generating advantages and reached halftime with just 27 points scored, a figure that reflected the team's difficulties in overcoming the visiting defense.

While Barcelona looked sluggish on offense, Valencia Basket found good shooting opportunities and built an increasingly larger lead. Pedro Martínez's side reached the break with a favorable 27-46 and left the game well on track before halftime.

A local comeback did not materialize after the break. Although Barcelona tried to increase their offensive aggression, Valencia Basket responded with spectacular three-point shooting. The visitors made eight three-pointers during the third quarter and extended their lead even further on the scoreboard.

Valencia's lead reached 23 points during that period and the game was practically decided before the final ten minutes. Barcelona could not find a way to close the gap and Valencia Basket continued controlling the pace of the game until the end.

The visitors reached a maximum advantage of 25 points and closed out a very solid performance with the final score of 77-102. The victory allows Valencia Basket to finish second in the regular season, while Barcelona finishes fifth and will face the quarterfinals without home-court advantage.
