Isaac Vázquez will play in the ACB next season. The young Galician guard, one of the standout performers for Club Ourense Baloncesto during the 2025/26 campaign, will make the leap to Liga Endesa with Bàsquet Girona under head coach Moncho Fernández.
Born in Ourense and 21 years old, Vázquez stands 1.93 meters tall and can play both point guard and shooting guard. The Galician player will join the Catalan club after completing a strong season in Primera FEB, where he has established himself as one of the most important pieces for COB.
During the current season he averaged 7.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, standing out for his ability to create plays, defend multiple positions and bring intensity on both ends of the floor.
His progression throughout the season attracted interest from several teams, but ultimately the Bàsquet Girona project secured his services to incorporate him into the backcourt rotation of the team led by Moncho Fernández.
The move represents an important step forward in Isaac Vázquez's career, son of legendary Sony Vázquez, an Ourense basketball icon and former ACB player.
