The wing would arrive from the Valley Suns of the NBA G League, where he has been one of the team's offensive leaders during the 2025/26 season.
Shackelford, who played college basketball at the University of Alabama, has averaged 20.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game this season in the G League, shooting 44.1% from the field and 40.6% from three-point range, figures that reflect his clear profile as a perimeter scorer.
