The victory allows the Murcia side to consolidate their position in the upper standings after extending their winning streak to five consecutive victories, while Coviran Granada remains in last place.
The game started with a constant exchange of blows, with Coviran Granada managing small leads like the initial 9-12. However, UCAM Murcia responded with accurate three-point shooting, with Michael Forrest and Kelan Martin's three-pointers standing out to take the lead (15-12). The entry of young Pablo Sevilla gave energy to the home team, which closed the first quarter with a slight advantage (28-23).
