The 2026 NBA Draft could feature Spanish talent once again. ESPN's latest mock draft update keeps three Spanish players among potential selections: Aday Mara, Sergio de Larrea, and Baba Miller. The standout rise belongs to the Aragonese center, now projected at No. 11—a lottery position and a notable jump from earlier projections.
Mara, who was listed at No. 24 in November and had climbed to No. 14 by April, continues gaining ground in the projections following a solid season at Michigan, capped off with an NCAA championship. According to ESPN's forecast, his destination would be the Golden State Warriors, a position that confirms his growing stock in the NBA market.
Sergio de Larrea also appears in the first round. The Valencia Basket point guard is projected at No. 30, assigned to the Dallas Mavericks, after spending much of the season in the second round of various mock drafts. His evolution during a strong season with Valencia and his competitive growth have allowed him to establish himself as one of the European names to watch in the latter part of the first round.
The third Spanish player included in the projection is Baba Miller. The Majorcan, who has already completed his college career and confirmed his presence in this year's Draft, is projected at No. 34 in the second round, with the Sacramento Kings as the team identified by ESPN.
With the deadline for players with draft options to withdraw their names now closed, the scenario is largely defined ahead of June 23 and 24, when the final destinations of the candidates will be revealed.
Here's how the Spanish players stand in ESPN's latest mock draft:
| Player | ESPN Projection | Projected Team | Round |
| Aday Mara | 11 | Golden State Warriors | 1st Round |
| Sergio de Larrea | 30 | Dallas Mavericks | 1st Round |
| Baba Miller | 34 | Sacramento Kings | 2nd Round |
The main takeaway is Mara's rise, moving from a mid-to-late first-round option to firmly entering lottery territory. De Larrea, meanwhile, maintains a very attractive position to make the jump as a first-round selection, while Baba Miller holds a second-round projection in a Spanish generation that could have significant presence in the 2026 NBA Draft.
