The center from Alicante arrives at Monbus Obradoiro after completing a standout season in Primera FEB with Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto
Alonso Faure (Busot, Alicante, 2002) joins Monbus Obradoiro to strengthen the team's interior rotation. The 2.08-meter center arrives from the Asturian club after completing his first full season as a professional.
Developed through Valencia Basket's youth categories, the big man continued his development in the United States, where he played four seasons with Loyola Maryland and one final college season at Pepperdine University.
During the 2025/26 season, Faure took a step forward in his performance with Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto, appearing in 31 regular season games, 15 of them as a starter. In those games he averaged 7.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 9.7 efficiency rating in 17 minutes per game, contributing to the strong year of the Asturian club, which reached the Final Four for promotion.
With his addition, Monbus Obradoiro adds a young player with physical presence and the ability to contribute in the paint.
