Versatility and scoring for Unicaja. The club has reached an agreement to sign French power forward Amine Noua (6'8", 29 years old) for the next two seasons, a player with proven experience in European basketball who arrives to bring energy, talent and versatility to Málaga's frontcourt.

Noua stands out for his modern "four" profile. He is a player with excellent athleticism, capable of playing above the rim, running the fast break and finishing with power, but also of threatening from outside shooting. His mobility allows him to defend multiple positions, while his aggressiveness on the boards and constant activity make his presence on the court a factor to be reckoned with.

Developed through ASVEL Villeurbanne's youth categories, Noua made his debut in French elite basketball at just 18 years old and grew to become an important piece. With the French club he won the French League (2016, 2019 and 2021) and the French Cup (2019 and 2021), in addition to playing several seasons in the EuroLeague, BCL and EuroCup.

His debut in the Liga Endesa came in the 2021-22 season, when he signed with MoraBanc Andorra, averaging 6.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 16 minutes of play with the Pyrenean team. In April of that season, he was loaned to SIG Strasbourg in search of playing time, where he finished the season with 14.6 points and 3.8 rebounds.

His strong performance earned him a return to ASVEL Villeurbanne in the 2022-23 season, and from there the following season to Israeli side Hapoel Holon, with whom he played only four BCL games (14 points, 6.8 rebounds) due to the Gaza war. In December 2023 he signed for Italian Bertram Derthona Tortona, with whom he also played in the BCL and Serie A until, in January 2024, he made the jump to one of the continent's biggest teams: Fenerbahçe. In Istanbul he won the Turkish League and Cup and played in the EuroLeague Final Four, where the Turks finished in fourth place.

His second opportunity in the Liga Endesa came in the 2024-25 season after joining Coviran Granada's project. There the power forward became one of the sensations of the competition, being one of the league's leading scorers, posting 16.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.3 steals and one block per game, with a 52.2% field goal percentage. His great performances even led him to be named Player of the Week 21 after recording 26 points and 10 rebounds for a 31 rating against UCAM Murcia.

After finishing his Spanish stint, he had a brief experience with Satria Muda Pertamina Jakarta in Indonesia, where he averaged 17.5 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1.1 steals and one block in the ten games he played. However, in November 2025 he set course for Europe again, this time to join Greek Aris Betsson Thessaloniki, with whom he had outstanding performances through the end of the season in both the Greek League (18.3 points—44.2% from three—6.7 rebounds, 1.1 steals and one assist) and the EuroCup (14.2 points—40.3% from three—5.8 rebounds).

On the international stage, Noua has a distinguished career with the French national team. After completing his entire youth career, he was a U-16, U-18 and U-20 international, winning the bronze medal at the 2017 U-20 European Championship. His progression opened the doors to the senior national team, with which he has regularly participated in FIBA Windows, recently being called up to play in the qualifying games for the 2027 Qatar World Cup next August.

With this signing, Unicaja incorporates for the next two seasons a player in his athletic prime, with international experience, knowledge of the Liga Endesa and a versatile profile that will bring balance, intensity and multiple resources to the team's interior game.
