Smits' departure ends a two-season stint with the club, while Weiler-Babb says goodbye after just one year at Anadolu Efes. The German wing, one of the most recognizable defensive profiles in the EuroLeague, averaged 7.7 points, 4.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 37 games during the 2025/26 season, and his future points to ASVEL, according to Eurohoops.
These first departures confirm that Anadolu Efes faces a summer of roster adjustments, with the intention of rebuilding a project that failed to find the expected stability during the season.
