Where does the brotherhood between Partizan Belgrade and Baloncesto Fuenlabrada come from?
The relationship between the Serbian club and the historic Madrid club was born in the 1991-92 season, when the Serbian club, forced by the Balkans war, played its home games at the Fernando Martín Pavilion in Fuenlabrada, adopting the Spanish city as its home and Fuenlabrada receiving them with open arms. The story doesn't end there—that same season, the Serbian team, coached by the legendary Željko Obradović, won its first and only FIBA European League (EuroLeague) title after defeating Joventut Badalona in the final.
The connection between Partizan Belgrade fans and players, including historic players such as Sasha Djordjevic and Predrag Danilovic, became so strong that during that season the team was known by the nickname: "Partizan de Fuenlabrada." Now more than 30 years later, both clubs maintain a close relationship based on this brotherhood, and Flexicar Fuenlabrada commemorates it with this new design in collaboration with Kromex. They do so under the motto: "Made in Belgrade" "Because yes, thanks to all of this, we are made in Belgrade."
