Bonzie Colson Returns to Maccabi Tel Aviv

Bonzie Colson is returning to Maccabi Tel Aviv. The Israeli club has officially announced the signing of the American small forward, who has signed a two-year deal and rejoins an organization where he previously made a significant impact before moving to Fenerbahce.

Colson arrives after two years in Turkey, where he was part of a Fenerbahce team that won the EuroLeague championship and also claimed two Turkish league titles, two cups, and a Turkish Super Cup. His stint in Istanbul allowed him to expand his trophy collection and establish himself as a reliable player at the elite level of European basketball.

The small forward is already very familiar with the Maccabi environment, a club he has come to consider family. In his first comments following the official announcement of his return, Colson expressed gratitude for the club's confidence and assured he is ready to create new memories in Tel Aviv.

Last season in the EuroLeague, he averaged 7.1 points and 3 rebounds in just under 17 minutes per game, standing out particularly for his three-point shooting, connecting at 48.5% from beyond the arc. His return represents a reinforcement of experience, character, and versatility for Maccabi's new project.
