ASISA Joventut and Boogie Ellis have reached an agreement whereby the American point guard will represent the green-and-black colors through June 30, 2027. With this move, the Joventut squad secures an outstanding reinforcement for its perimeter.

Rejean Amor Ellis (San Diego, California, December 12, 2000), better known as Boogie Ellis, is an American point guard standing 1.88m tall who stands out for his offensive talent and can play seamlessly at both point guard and shooting guard. He is highly effective in pick-and-roll situations and possesses the resources to create advantages for both himself and his teammates. He excels with quick first-step speed, the ability to create his own shots, a constant three-point threat, and his mastery of transition play. Additionally, his defensive aggression and intensity on the ball allow him to force turnovers and impose a high pace on the game.

Boogie Ellis began his college career at the University of Memphis before completing his education at the University of Southern California. With the Trojans, he definitively emerged as one of the Pac-12 conference's top offensive threats. In his final college season, he averaged 17.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game, with an impressive 38.6% from three-point range.

After starting his professional career in the NBA G-League during the 2024-25 season (Stockton Kings), the playmaker made the jump to Europe in the summer of 2025 with ALBA Berlin. In Germany, he made an immediate impact, becoming one of the team's standout players in both the Bundesliga and the BCL.

His strong start to the season led to his signing with Dubai Basketball, marking his EuroLeague debut. In the continental top competition, he appeared in five games, averaging 10.4 points, 2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 8.6 efficiency rating in nearly 18 minutes of play, demonstrating his ability to compete at the highest level of European basketball. He finished last season with Galatasaray in the Turkish league.

At just 25 years old, Ellis arrives in Badalona at a moment of peak athletic maturity. His individual quality, scoring talent, and experience accumulated across different international competitions strengthen ASISA Joventut's perimeter game with a profile capable of tilting games both with the ball in his hands and playing off-ball.
