Monbus Obradoiro has signed Brandon Childress, a 28-year-old American point guard standing 1.83 meters tall, who arrives from Bursaspor to strengthen the team's playmaking in Santiago.

During the past season, Childress became one of the standout players for the Turkish team. In the demanding Turkish league, he averaged 14.9 points, 6.8 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game, serving as his team's primary playmaker and one of their main offensive weapons. Additionally, he competed in the Basketball Champions League, where he posted 10.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 2.7 rebounds across six games.

His performance in Turkey confirmed the progression he had already demonstrated earlier at CBet Jonava in Lithuania, where he surpassed 18 points per game before making the jump to Bursaspor. Throughout his professional career, he has also competed in Greece, Estonia, Germany, the Dominican Republic, and the NBA G League, accumulating extensive international experience.
