Anadolu Efes continues making moves in the market and has completed the signing of Bruno Fernando. The Angolan center arrives from Partizan Belgrade and signs a two-year deal with the Turkish club.
Fernando experienced a 2025/26 season with two stints. He started the campaign at Real Madrid, where he had limited playing time, appearing in just five EuroLeague games. He then moved to Partizan, where he found more opportunities and averaged 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and a 10.5 efficiency rating across 32 games.
His arrival fits within the reconstruction Efes is undertaking following a season that fell well short of expectations in EuroLeague. The Turkish team, now under the direction of Pablo Laso, wants to compete at the top again and is overhauling much of its roster.
Fernando joins other notable names such as Dario Saric, Matthew Strazel and Santi Yusta, while the team has parted ways with key players including Vincent Poirier, Rolands Smits, Nick Weiler-Babb and Shane Larkin.
For Efes, Fernando's signing brings physicality, rebounding and presence near the rim. He doesn't arrive as an offensive star, but rather as a strong, mobile interior player capable of providing consistency to a paint that needed changes.
