Cameron Hildreth (Worthing, 09/18/2002) is Bàsquet Girona's new player through the end of the season. The 6'5" wing arrives from the Noblesville Boom, the G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers.
Hildreth developed his career in the English league with the Surrey Scorchers during the 2020/21 season, before signing with Wake Forest University (Wake Forest Demon Deacons) of the NCAA, where he has played from the 2021/22 season through 2024/25.
In his final NCAA season, in which he played 30 games, he averaged 14.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. This season in the G League, he has played 35 games with averages of 13.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists. The player also participated in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament during the 2019/20 season and has been international with the English U16 and U18 national teams.
Fernando San Emeterio, sports director of Bàsquet Girona, stated the following: "Following Maxi's injury, we felt we needed to strengthen the team's perimeter game. Cameron is a very versatile player: he has played the 3 and 2 positions, and even this season has played the 1 due to injuries on his team. He has good ability to play in transition, as well as to finish inside the paint and assist his teammates. We believe he brings good defensive intensity and energy that will fit very well with our philosophy, which is why we decided to bring him in".
