Cedi Osman Heads to PAOK in Surprise Move

Cedi Osman could be involved in one of the most unexpected moves in the European market. According to Donatas Urbonas, the Turkish small forward from Panathinaikos is expected to sign with PAOK Thessaloniki, a team that will compete in the EuroCup next season.

The deal would have enormous impact for the Greek club. PAOK would pay around €2 million for Osman's exit from Panathinaikos and would offer him a contract close to €3 million per season—figures that are highly unusual for a EuroCup team.

Osman comes from playing for a Panathinaikos side competing at the highest level of European basketball, and his arrival at PAOK would represent a dramatic leap in ambition for the Thessaloniki club. We're not talking about a role player, but a name with NBA experience, EuroLeague pedigree, and Turkish national team credentials.

The move also directly affects Kids&Us Manresa, as PAOK will be a rival of the Catalan team in Group D of the EuroCup. If the signing is confirmed, the Manresa squad will face one of the most powerful names in the entire competition.

Pending an official announcement, the deal appears to be a genuine bombshell: Cedi Osman, from Panathinaikos to PAOK, with EuroLeague-level money to compete in the EuroCup.
