The countdown has begun. Next Sunday, May 31st at 5:00 PM, the Pazo dos Deportes Paco Paz will host a very special game: a charity match that will bring together legends of Galician basketball and Valencia Basket, in benefit of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Ourense.

With just days left until the event, organizers are calling on the community to fill the arena and turn the occasion into a great charity celebration, where every ticket sale contributes to improving the lives of cancer patients.

A unique event with great basketball names
The game will pit veterans from the Galician Basketball Federation and Valencia Basket against each other, featuring standout players such as Sony Vázquez, Rubén Vila, Gustavo Andújar, Víctor Luengo, Víctor Claver, and Kosta Perovic, among others.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see basketball icons back on the court in a festive and charitable atmosphere designed for all audiences.

Sport in service of health and research
The organization reminds us that this game "is much more than a sporting event": it aims to promote healthy lifestyle habits, raise awareness about cancer, and raise funds that will go toward both free services for patients and families as well as cancer research.

Tickets and participation
Tickets are available at a price of 10 euros for adults and 3 euros for children under 16 years old. A charity tier has also been set up for those who wish to contribute even if they cannot attend. Points of sale are: the Association's headquarters in Ourense, the AECC office at Hospital Santa María Nai, and the Pazo dos Deportes box office on the day of the event at gate 1.

Final call
Organizers insist: "We are in the final week and we need the support of the entire city." The goal is clear: fill the Paco Paz and show that Ourense responds when it comes to charity.

The game has the backing of a broad institutional and sports network, including the Provincial Council, the City Council of Ourense, the Galician Basketball Federation, Valencia Basket, Ourense Basketball Club, and the Galician Cluster for the Sports and Wellness Industry, as well as the association itself.
