Darius McGhee will wear the iLERNA Lleida jersey for the 2026-2027 season. The American point guard, with Armenian nationality, arrives from Bourg-en-Bresse, a team from the French first division, where he has played in the league (29 games, 24.6 minutes, 10.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 10.1 rating) as well as playoff games (9 points, 4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 4.5 rating in 2 games and 27 minutes) and European competition (12.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 12.2 rating in 23 games and 25.1 minutes average).
For 5 seasons, McGhee played for the Liberty Flames in the NCAA (2018-2023). The following season he played for the Indiana Mad Ants (USA-2) and in 2024-2025 for Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany.
During the 2025-2026 season, Darius McGhee has represented the Armenian national team in the Eurobasket qualifying windows in a game where he recorded 35 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 29 rating.
