jun 29 2026Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with American point guard Darius Thompson (Italian passport) to terminate the remaining two years of his contract with the club, leaving Valencia Basket after being part of the squad that won the club's first domestic double with the Liga Endesa title and Supercopa Endesa.

Darius Thompson joined Valencia Basket in the summer of 2025 from Anadolu Efes Istanbul and appeared in a total of 76 games with the club, averaging 8.2 points on 36.6% from three-point range, 1.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists for 8.9 efficiency rating.
