Denver Nuggets Express Interest in Alpha Diallo

Denver Nuggets has set its sights on Alpha Diallo, one of EuroLeague's top defenders. According to BasketNews, the Colorado franchise is showing strong interest in the wing, who can still make the jump to the NBA despite signing with Dubai Basketball.

Diallo has an NBA exit clause valid until July 15, which keeps the door open for a possible immediate move to the American league. The Nuggets wouldn't be the only team monitoring his situation, as several NBA clubs have reportedly followed his development throughout the season.

The wing comes off playing the 2025/26 season with AS Monaco, where he was named EuroLeague Defensive Player of the Year. He averaged 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 28 minutes per game, establishing himself as one of the most complete wings in the competition.

His profile fits perfectly with what NBA teams typically look for to complete their rotations: physical, defensive prowess, energy, ability to switch matchups and production without needing heavy ball usage. Additionally, after five seasons with Monaco, he arrives with extensive European experience and a well-defined role.

For now, Diallo belongs to Dubai Basketball, but the NBA clause could change the scenario in just days. Denver is pushing and the player has until July 15 to decide whether to continue his new path in Europe or try his luck in the NBA.
