Devin Robinson has found his next destination. The American power forward will play the 2026-27 season with Śląsk Wrocław, as announced by the Polish club, which highlighted his NBA past and experience in the G League and European competition. This closes a summer of waiting after his departure from Casademont Zaragoza was confirmed in July.
One of the best leaves through the front door
Robinson departs the Liga Endesa in style. In his only season at Zaragoza, he appeared in 34 league games, averaging 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and a 16.2 rating in just under 26 minutes per game—numbers that made him the most impactful player on a team fighting to avoid relegation until the final stretch. His best performance came in April against Hiopos Lleida: 27 points and a 35 rating in a victory that gave the club crucial breathing room in their fight for survival.
He was no stranger to Spain. The 31-year-old from Chesterfield, standing 2.03 meters tall, had previously spent two seasons at BAXI Manresa—more than fifty games averaging 13.5 points and 5.3 rebounds—and arrived at Zaragoza from Cedevita Olimpija, where he was named to the EuroCup All-Star Five and won the Slovenian Cup.
A step down in competition for a bigger résumé
The takeaway from this move is clear. At 31 years old and coming off the best season of his career in the ACB, Robinson is stepping down a level competitively: the Polish league sits below the Spanish league, and Śląsk Wrocław, despite its history, is not a continental elite club. This type of decision typically reflects either the salary or a guaranteed role, and in any case, it leaves the Liga Endesa without one of the most reliable interior scorers from last season.
His career path, in any case, has always been nomadic: Washington Wizards, several G League teams, Taiwan, Puerto Rico, Germany, Manresa, Slovenia, and now Poland. Wrocław will be his seventh country.
