Developed through Estudiantes Madrid's youth academy, Edgar Vicedo Ayala left the capital to join Peñas Huesca from 2013 to 2015. Upon his return to Estudiantes, he began a nine-season stint in the ACB with the club that formed him (2014 to 2021). In Spain's top division, he also played for Unicaja, Fuenlabrada, Obradoiro, Tenerife, and Granada, plus a stint in Venezuelan basketball in 2023.
Last season, Vicedo played for Hestia Menorca in Primera FEB, averaging 8.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in the regular season, and 9 points, 4 rebounds, and one assist per game across the four playoff promotion matches.
Edgar Vicedo has represented Spain at all youth levels and boasts extensive experience in both the ACB and European competitions (BCL).
He is a versatile power forward who can also play at small forward. He possesses great physical size that allows him to defend taller players and contribute on the boards. He stands out for his basketball IQ and his reliability shooting from three-point range.
