Shengelia closed out last season as one of Barcelona's most important players. He was consistent, competitive, and impactful in many stretches of the campaign, becoming a piece of enormous value for the club. His departure would be a serious sporting blow for a team that has already experienced many changes this summer.
The context has changed in recent days.
