Bayern Munich Pursues Duane Washington

Bayern Munich is working the market to strengthen its perimeter game, and Duane Washington is one of the names on their radar. According to Andrea Calzoni, the German club is interested in the American shooting guard and has already presented him with an offer for the upcoming season.

Washington will leave Partizan at the end of the season, opening the door for a move within the EuroLeague market. His profile fits what a team needs that is looking for scoring, perimeter threat and the ability to create advantages in offense without always relying on lengthy set plays.

The American has completed a notable 2025/26 season of offensive production with the Serbian club. In the EuroLeague, he has averaged 14.9 points and 2.5 assists, figures that explain Bayern's interest in adding more scoring talent to their perimeter rotation.

Washington is a high-tempo player, aggressive with the ball and capable of creating shots both off the dribble and in catch-and-shoot situations. His main value lies in his ability to score in different contexts: transition, pick-and-roll, one-on-one and three-pointers with tight spacing.

For Bayern, his addition would mean bringing in a perimeter player with recent EuroLeague experience and room to assume significant offensive responsibilities. It is not yet a done deal, but the move confirms that the German club has already positioned itself for one of the most interesting scorers the market has to offer.
