The 2.00-meter tall, 26-year-old wing AJ Lawson arrives in Vitoria-Gasteiz after significant NBA experience, having played 107 games in the league.
Lawson developed his game in the NCAA with the South Carolina Gamecocks before making the jump to the G League in the 2020-2021 season with the College Park Skyhawks.
The Canadian player made his NBA debut with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2021-2022 season and after stints with the Dallas Mavericks, has spent the last two campaigns with the Toronto Raptors. This past season between the G League and NBA, Lawson averaged 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and a rating average of 12.4.
Kosner Baskonia adds for the next two seasons a dynamic player with intensity and scoring ability.
