Río Breogán continues building its roster for the 2026/27 season, securing the signing of Rasir Bolton, an American point guard/shooting guard arriving from Italian side Napoli Basket.
Bolton, born in 1999 and standing 1.91 meters tall, is a perimeter player with scoring ability in his hands, ball-handling skills, and a three-point threat. Developed through the NCAA, he played for Penn State, Iowa State, and Gonzaga before launching his professional career in Europe.
Last season with Napoli Basket in the Lega Basket Serie A, he averaged 13.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in 30.9 minutes per game, establishing himself as one of the Italian team's offensive leaders. He also stood out for his ability to create plays from the perimeter and handle significant offensive volume in running the attack.
Before his stint in Italy, Bolton had already competed in Belgium and Serbia, making a strong impression as a scorer. At Antwerp, he was one of the standout players in the BNXT League, and later also had a prominent role at Spartak Subotica.
With his arrival, the Lucense squad adds a combo guard profile capable of creating advantages, bringing pace, and increasing offensive production from beyond the arc. Another piece for Luis Casimiro's project in a special season for the club, which will celebrate its 60th anniversary.
