Hapoel Tel Aviv faces a precarious situation ahead of the Israeli league playoffs. According to Walla Sport, Elijah Bryant has left Israel for the United States and could miss the decisive stretch of the season due to a physical issue.

The American shooting guard, who was not registered for the final regular season game against Maccabi Tel Aviv, will undergo further medical evaluations and there is a possibility he may need to undergo a medical procedure that would require approximately two months of recovery.

Bryant reportedly informed the club of his injury following the EuroLeague playoffs, surprising some within the Israeli organization. The player also prefers to receive treatment now to avoid compromising the start of next season.

A final decision is expected in the coming days, while Hapoel must finalize its roster for the playoffs this same weekend.

In his first season with the Israeli club, Bryant established himself as one of the major figures in the EuroLeague with averages of 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
