mar 27 2026BARCELONA — Barcelona defeated Crvena Zvezda 92-88 in overtime at Palau Blaugrana in a direct matchup between teams that started the day with identical records in the EuroLeague, a victory that also gives the Blaugrana the head-to-head tiebreaker after winning in Belgrade as well.
The victory puts the team coached by Xavi Pascual at 20-14, while Crvena Zvezda falls to 19-15 in a game marked by parity and decided only in overtime.
The game's leading scorer was Jordan Nwora, who finished with 26 points. For Barcelona, Will Clyburn stood out with 19 points, Joel Parra added 15, and Jan Vesely contributed 14.
The game started with a 30-minute delay due to equipment issues with the visiting team. Once underway, the matchup played out as expected: two evenly matched teams trading leads and keeping the score tight throughout much of the night.
At halftime, Barcelona led narrowly 42-40. After the break, the Blaugrana found their best stretch through Jan Vesely. The Czech center led a highly productive stretch that allowed the home team to open their largest lead of the game, pushing the score to 66-58.

Butler hit the 75-75 that sent the game to overtime, while Will Clyburn failed to convert Barcelona's final possession of regulation.
In the extra period, Tomas Satoransky emerged as the key figure, taking control of the game and guiding Barcelona through the decisive stretch to secure a hard-fought victory.
