EuroLeague Gameday 4 Injury Report: Saint-Supéry in Doubt

Por ·

The injury list weighs heavily on EuroLeague Gameday 4. The week's marquee matchup between undefeated Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce arrives with three significant absences for the Greek team, while Partizan travels to Madrid without three rotation players. Among Spain's four teams, there is more good news than bad: Valencia Basket recovers players and has only one doubt—Mario Saint-Supéry.

This is the status of each team, according to reports sent by clubs to the EuroLeague.

The Spanish Teams

Valencia Basket (vs. Hapoel Tel Aviv, Thursday 20:30). Mario Saint-Supéry is questionable, as confirmed by the club. The good news is that Álvaro Cárdenas, Mo Gueye, and Yankuba Sima are available. Cárdenas was not included in the roster for Gamedays 2 and 3, and Gueye and Sima have yet to play this season in the EuroLeague. At Hapoel Tel Aviv, which has not submitted a report, Tomer Ginat remains unavailable due to a knee injury and Jacob Toppin did not play the last two gamedays due to a foot issue.

Real Madrid (vs. Partizan, Thursday 20:45). The club has not yet submitted its report. Usman Garuba remains sidelined by the Achilles injury he suffered at the Final Four in May. Partizan arrives severely depleted: Lamar Stevens (hand), Derek Willis (ankle, out until late October), and Vanja Marinkovic (Achilles, still without debut this season) do not travel.

Barcelona (vs. Zalgiris Kaunas, Friday 20:30). No official report yet, but Barcelona has carried three absences since Gameday 2: Josh Nebo (calf), Tosan Evbuomwan (shoulder), and Yoan Makoundou (knee). Zalgiris Kaunas is missing its starting point guard, Nigel Williams-Goss, out two weeks since September 25 due to a hamstring injury, and Saben Lee, who has not played any game this season.

Kosner Baskonia (vs. Besiktas, Friday 20:30). No known absences. Marcio Santos, the latest signing, made his debut in Gameday 3. At Besiktas, DaQuan Jeffries remains out after wrist surgery following an injury in Gameday 1.
