Matchday 10 of the EuroLeague left a sole leader and an increasingly tight group of pursuers. Panathinaikos won in Madrid after overtime and took advantage of Olympiacos's home loss to stand alone at the top. It was also a good day for Spanish coaches: Ibon Navarro, Xavi Pascual, and Joan Peñarroya won convincingly. Things didn't go as well for Pedro Martínez, Pablo Laso, and Àlex Mumbrú.

Panathinaikos survives in Madrid
The marquee matchup of the day needed overtime. Real Madrid, with a long injury list, recovered from an 18-24 first quarter deficit, trailed by just three at halftime (48-51), and forced overtime with a 101-101 tie. In the extra period, Panathinaikos was more reliable (11-14) and took the 112-115 victory. Kendrick Nunn scored 33 points and Mathias Lessort added 20 points and 9 rebounds. For Madrid, Andrés Feliz (27 points and 6 assists) and Alberto Abalde stood out, finishing with 23 points on 4-of-7 from three.
