TEL AVIV — Maccabi Tel Aviv has announced the contract extension of Oded Kattash for three more seasons, ensuring the continuity of the Israeli head coach leading the team in the EuroLeague. The agreement reinforces the stability of the club's sporting project, which in recent years has established itself as a regular EuroLeague playoff contender.

Oded Kattash, 51, is in his second stint as head coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv and is currently in his fourth consecutive season since returning in the summer of 2022. During this period, the Israeli team has returned to competing regularly in the upper tier of the EuroLeague, while also maintaining a dominant role in domestic competitions.

The extension also carries historical significance for the club. According to Maccabi Tel Aviv's announcement, this new contract makes Kattash the head coach with the longest continuous tenure on the bench in the team's history over the past 50 years, a fact that reflects the organization's confidence in his work and commitment to the project's continuity.
