The Valencia squad set the pace of the game for three quarters and built a 13-point lead at one point. However, Zalgiris rallied in the final stretch of the game and managed to tie the score, forcing Valencia to decide the contest in the crucial possessions.

Omari Moore led the home team with 16 points, spearheading a balanced offensive attack in which Nate Reuvers also stood out with 12 points, Brancou Badio with 11—including a crucial two-pointer down the stretch—and Jaime Pradilla, who contributed 10 points and six rebounds.

For the Lithuanian side, Moses Wright delivered a strong performance with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Dustin Sleva added 14 points and Ignas Brazdeikis chipped in 13 in the visiting team's comeback attempt.

Zalgiris elevated its level in the fourth quarter and managed to erase the deficit it had accumulated throughout the game, even tying the score after being down 13 points. Still, Valencia Basket knew how to respond in the final moments to maintain the lead and secure the victory in front of their home crowd at the Roig Arena.

The win allows Valencia Basket to add another victory in the EuroLeague in a matchday marked by a tense finish against a Zalgiris Kaunas team that rallied in the final period but failed to complete the comeback.
