Fenerbahçe Beko is making moves in the interior market and has tabled an offer for Marcus Bingham. According to Andrea Calzoni, the Turkish club has presented a one-year proposal worth €700,000 to the American center, who just completed a solid season with UNICS Kazan.
Bingham, 2.13 meters tall, is one of the interior players who has grown the most outside the main EuroLeague spotlight. His season in the VTB League has placed him in an interesting market position, after being named Newcomer of the Year in the competition. In the regular season, he averaged 15.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.8 blocks, with 20.2 efficiency rating, helping UNICS finish second in the VTB League regular season.
Fenerbahçe's interest makes sense given the player's profile. Bingham is a long, mobile interior with the ability to finish near the rim, run the floor, and protect the paint. He's not just a physical presence at center: he also offers defensive activity, intimidation, and notable offensive production in high-tempo contexts.
For Fenerbahçe's current project, his addition would mean bringing an athletic piece with competitive upside to an interior rotation that aims to maintain a high level of demand in Turkey and in the EuroLeague. The offer, according to Calzoni, has already been presented, though for now it is not a done deal.
If Fenerbahçe manages to close the deal, they would add an interior player in full development, with differential athleticism and the ability to provide immediate energy on both sides of the floor.
