Fenerbahce and Valencia Basket Circle Joel Parra as Barcelona Small Forward Targets
Joel Parra's future could become another major focus of the ACB and EuroLeague market. According to Javier Maestro, Fenerbahce and Valencia Basket have Barcelona's small forward on their radar and would be willing to study paying his release clause, which would not exceed one million euros.
Parra just completed the 2025/26 season with FC Barcelona, where he averaged 8.4 points and 4 rebounds per game, standing out particularly for his 40% three-point shooting. His profile as a strong, versatile wing capable of playing both the three and four positions makes him an attractive piece for several major projects.
In Fenerbahce's case, the departure of Tarık Biberović to the Dallas Mavericks leaves a gap in their perimeter rotation. Additionally, Sarunas Jasikevicius knows Parra well and has always valued his physicality, intensity, and versatility.
For Valencia Basket, the interest also makes sense. The orange club has lost several Spanish national team players and needs to strengthen their roster quota, as well as fill small forward and power forward positions following a summer of significant squad changes.
Barcelona's institutional situation adds uncertainty to the case. The Blaugrana club is going through a delicate moment in their sports planning and could be forced to react if one of their rivals decides to make the definitive move.
Parra, 26, joined Barcelona from Joventut after his release clause was paid. Now, three years later, he could once again be the protagonist of a similar operation.
