Nico Laprovittola's Barcelona Era Comes to an End

The contract concluded after five seasons, five titles, and over 300 games in the Blaugrana jersey

The partnership between FC Barcelona and player Nico Laprovittola has come to an end. The Argentine point guard's contract expired on June 30, and through these lines, FC Barcelona wishes to publicly thank him for his commitment to the club and wishes him the best of luck in the future.

Lapro demonstrated his talent on the court and, due to injuries over the last two seasons, made a tremendous physical effort to finish the 2025/26 season competing at the highest level. He departs as a beloved figure at Palau Blaugrana and with five titles on his resume: the Copa del Rey in 2022, the Liga in 2023, and the Catalan Leagues in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

A five-season chapter
The Argentine international arrived at Barcelona in the summer of 2021 and over the last three seasons was one of the team's captains. In these five seasons he played a total of 307 games: 147 in Liga, 134 in EuroLeague, 9 in Copa del Rey, 11 in Catalan League, and 6 in Supercopa.
