George Conditt IV Joins Leyma Coruña as Interior Reinforcement

Leyma Coruña continues building its roster for the 2026/27 season, adding George Conditt IV (Chicago, USA, 2000), a 2.11-meter center with international experience for Puerto Rico's national team, including the 2023 FIBA World Cup and 2024 Olympic Games.

He began his NCAA career with Iowa State Cyclones over four years, reaching the "Sweet Sixteen" in his final college season. His professional debut came in the 2021-2022 season in Puerto Rico's top division with Gigantes de Carolina. He then moved to European basketball, specifically Greece, joining Promitheas Patras where he played a prominent role despite his youth, competing in the top division and EuroCup.

After his season in Greece, he returned home to help Gigantes de Carolina win their first national championship. In the 2023-2024 season, he joined the Rip City Remix of the G League, where he earned the league's Defensive Player of the Year award. Following his experience in the US, he signed with Dreamland Gran Canaria in the ACB. After one season with the Canary Islands club, he arrives from Gigantes de Carolina, where he averaged 9.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.

George is a center capable of playing in the low post, rebounding, defending the paint, and running the floor. He adapts to the team's style of play, with a focus on pick-and-roll execution and finishes near the basket, plus solid low-post play.

Welcome to the club and to A Coruña, George!
