Hapoel Jerusalem Pursues Matt Costello to Pair with Devontae Cacok

Por ·

Hapoel Jerusalem is looking to build a physically dominant frontcourt. The Israeli club has already secured Devontae Cacok and is now negotiating with Matt Costello, according to Tomer Givati.

Costello's contract with Valencia Basket has expired and he is evaluating where to continue his career. The big man, who holds an Ivory Coast passport, is a very complete profile for European basketball: physical, experienced, capable of playing near the rim and also of stretching the floor at times.

The potential pairing with Cacok would be very interesting for Hapoel. The former Baskonia and Valencia player would bring court vision, size, and versatility, while Cacok would provide energy, rebounding, toughness, and finishing ability near the basket.

The Israeli club is making aggressive moves in the market and is looking to strengthen its interior game with two proven players. For now, Costello is not locked in, but talks are ongoing and Hapoel Jerusalem appears as a serious option for his future.
