Hapoel Tel Aviv continues securing key pieces for its project. The Israeli club has officially announced the renewal of Dan Oturu, who will remain with the team through the end of the 2028/29 season.
The American center was one of the standout big men in last season's EuroLeague. In the 2025/26 season, he averaged 13.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 42 games, with a spectacular 71% shooting from two-point range.
Additionally, Oturu set a historic milestone: he established a new EuroLeague single-season record with 232 two-point baskets made.
His continuity is great news for Hapoel, which just completed a historic season in its EuroLeague debut, reaching the playoffs and establishing itself as a very serious project.
With Oturu renewed, the Israeli club retains one of its interior pillars and continues shaping a roster with ambitions to compete at the top level in Europe.
