Kids&Us Manresa continues to move in the market to escape the bottom of the Liga Endesa. According to journalist Chema de Lucas, the Catalan club is close to securing the signing of Isaiah Mobley, a power forward with NBA experience and a well-known surname: he is the older brother of Evan Mobley, center for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The move adds to that of Luka Ščuka, the Slovenian international who, according to his country's press, has already signed with Diego Ocampo's team. Manresa is the only team in the Liga Endesa without a win after six matchdays, and the lack of depth in the paint has been one of its main problems.

From USC to the NBA
Born in San Diego with Bahamian nationality, Mobley was one of the great talents of his generation in high school: he played in the McDonald's All-American game in 2019 before spending three seasons at USC, where in his final year he averaged 14.2 points and 8.3 rebounds and made the Pac-12 All-Conference team. In the 2022 Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the 49th pick, the same team where his brother was already a starter.
In the NBA he had few opportunities: 23 games split between Cleveland and the Philadelphia 76ers. Where he did stand out was in the G League, with over 17 points per game in his three seasons with the Cleveland Charge and Delaware Blue Coats, and a spot on the All-G League Third Team in 2023.
His First Year in Europe
In 2025 he made the jump to Europe. He started the season with Manisa in the Turkish league, where he was one of the team's leading scorers, and in December he signed with Hapoel Jerusalem, with whom he played in the Israeli league and the EuroCup. That summer he also made his debut with the Bahamas national team in the AmeriCup.
He is an interior player who can stretch the floor, shooting 38.6% from three-point range last season, and with good court vision for his position. His Bahamian passport would also facilitate his fit with Manresa's roster.
