Olimpia Milano has announced the signing of Jason Burnell, a 6'7" American power forward aged 28, who arrives from Germani Brescia after signing a multi-year agreement with the Lombard club.
Burnell expressed enthusiasm about this new chapter in his career. "This is an exciting chapter for me and my family," said the player, who assured he is ready to give everything for his new teammates, the coaching staff, and the Milan fans.
The American forward boasts extensive experience in Italian basketball. Since his arrival at Cantù, he has also played for Sassari, Brindisi, and Brescia, establishing himself as a reliable, physical player with the ability to produce in different contexts.
His best season came precisely in the 2025/26 campaign with Brescia, where he averaged 14.1 points and 7.1 rebounds and was named Sixth Man of the Year. In seven seasons in Italy, Burnell has appeared in the playoffs in virtually every season, accumulating 40 playoff games.
