Spectacular! The small forward for FIATC Girona delivered a tremendous performance with 40 points and a 42 rating, leading his team to victory over Leyma Coruña in a display that earned him his first Player of the Week designation.

A historic performance from Jassel Pérez, who led FIATC Girona to their second victory of the season.

Against Leyma Coruña, the Dominican wing broke practically all of his personal records, setting new career highs in points (40), three-pointers (9), steals (4), and rating (41), following a historic outing.

These numbers catapult Jassel Pérez to the Player of the Week 4 designation, a recognition he receives for the first time in his Liga Endesa career.

The 40 points scored are already among the highest scoring performances seen in Liga Endesa this century and the best of 2026. He reached this impressive total after converting practically every shot he attempted.

With a perfect night from two-point range (3 of 3) and from the free throw line (7 of 7), he only missed 4 three-pointers, but those misses went unnoticed thanks to his 9 made shots from beyond the 6.75-meter line.

His offensive contribution was further complemented by 2 assists that translated into five additional points for his team, following a two-pointer from David N'Guessan and a three-pointer from Andrzej Pluta.

And if he was perfect on offense, he didn't lose focus on the defensive end either. He grabbed 2 rebounds that gave his team new offensive possessions, and recorded 4 steals at crucial moments in the game.

He completed his stat line with 5 fouls drawn and an impressive +25 in the plus-minus, demonstrating the enormous impact he had on his team's victory.

All told, he finished with an impressive 41 rating points, which currently stands as the best performance of this early season.
