The American shooting guard, with experience in Europe and the Liga Endesa, joins the university team through the end of the season
UCAM Murcia CB has reached an agreement with Jaylen Hands to join the university roster through the end of the current season.
The American shooting guard, who can also play point guard, arrives at the team coached by Sito Alonso to strengthen the perimeter with his offensive talent, pace of play, and ability to create mismatches. Additionally, he will occupy a non-EU player spot on the roster.
Trained at UCLA, Hands made the jump to professional basketball after his stint in the NBA G League, subsequently beginning an international career that has taken him to compete in various European leagues. In the Liga Endesa, the new university player played for Zunder Palencia, where he demonstrated his ability to adapt to the demands of the competition. Furthermore, he arrives in Murcia following his recent experience in the Chinese league, where he has continued developing his offensive skill set.
Hands stands out for his versatility in generating points, being capable of scoring in one-on-one situations, from beyond the arc, or attacking the rim aggressively. His ability to create his own shots and assume offensive responsibilities make him a constant threat to opposing defenses.
With his arrival, UCAM Murcia CB incorporates a player with international experience, scoring ability, and versatility on the perimeter, strengthening the team's wing rotation to face the challenges of the final stretch of the season.
