Casademont Zaragoza has reached an agreement with Jilson Bango (2.08m, 1999) for the Angolan player to return to the red-and-white discipline through the end of the 2026-2027 season.
The center is in the final phase of his left knee injury, requiring one final surgery that will be performed in Zaragoza, with subsequent recovery supervised by Casademont Zaragoza's medical staff. Once he receives medical clearance, the player will join the team's training and competition activities.
A player who amazed the 'Red Tide' and became one of the great sensations of the Liga Endesa returns to Zaragoza. Before joining Turkish Fenerbahce, Jilson Bango averaged 13.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and a rating of 16.1 per game in the ACB.
He was named Matchday MVP on 3 occasions and received the award for MVP of December 2024.
