After several seasons with Barcelona, the blaugrana club has extended Joel Parra's contract through 2030. The player averaged 11.1 rating points in 2025-26, with 8.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game

Barcelona and Joel Parra have reached an agreement to renew the Catalan small forward through June 30, 2030. The No. 44 arrived at the club three seasons ago on a deal through 2027, with an extension last summer through 2028. Following the agreement between both parties, his contract has been improved once again, and he will continue for four more seasons, becoming even more of a fundamental pillar of the project, both for his importance on the court and his influence off it.

In his three seasons wearing the blaugrana colors, Parra has become a key piece for all coaches, bringing unique intensity and connection with the Palau crowd, while also being a very versatile player capable of playing from the post or penetrating from the perimeter with outside shooting threat, good physicality, and excellent rebounding ability on both ends of the court.

In the 2025-26 season, he recorded an average of 8.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 11.1 rating in the domestic league, achieving his career-high of 24 points and 34 rating against Morabanc Andorra. In the EuroLeague, his numbers were 5.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 6.8 rating, improving his statistics compared to his first two seasons in the top continental competition.

To date, Parra has played a total of 223 games wearing Barcelona colors: 112 in the Liga Endesa, 97 in the EuroLeague, 6 in the Copa del Rey, 1 in the Spanish Super Cup, and 7 in the Lliga Catalana.
