The New York Knicks have agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with Igor Milicic Jr. for their preseason camp, according to Karol Wasiek at Interia Sport.
What the deal means
It's worth explaining, as this is the third time this week such an agreement has appeared on the market. An Exhibit 10 is a one-year contract at the minimum salary with no guarantees that functions in practice as an invitation to camp. If the player doesn't make the final roster, the team can convert it into a G League affiliate deal, where he receives a bonus for staying a set period of time.
In other words, it guarantees nothing. But being part of the preseason for the reigning NBA champion is hardly a minor detail.
His 2025-26 numbers
The player is familiar with the process, having gone through it exactly a year ago. He signed an Exhibit 10 with the Philadelphia 76ers for their camp and ended up in the G League: 45 games with the Delaware Blue Coats and averages of 6.9 points and 5 rebounds.
Those numbers aren't those of a player destined for a breakthrough, but rather someone who remains in the orbit.
Who he is
Milicic Jr. is 24 years old with dual Polish and Croatian citizenship, and is the son of coach Igor Milicic, the current Poland national team head coach. Between 2021 and 2024 he competed in the NCAA, playing for Virginia, Charlotte, and Tennessee.
He is, therefore, a product of the American college system with a European passport—one of those profiles that moves in the space between the G League and European basketball.
