Kwan Cheatham Set to Bolster ASISA Joventut's Interior Game

The American power forward, with previous Liga Endesa experience, is close to joining the Badalona club after spending the last two seasons with Italian side Pallacanestro Reggiana.

ASISA Joventut is advancing in building its roster for the 2026/27 season and has the signing of Kwan Cheatham well underway. According to journalist Gerard Solé, the American big man is close to becoming a new player for the Badalona team.

Cheatham, 30 years old and 2.06 meters tall, can play both power forward and center. His possible arrival would bring size, athletic ability, and three-point shooting to the Joventut interior rotation, along with extensive knowledge of European basketball.

The American player comes from Pallacanestro Reggiana, the team with which he has competed for the last two seasons in the Italian league. During the 2025/26 season, he averaged 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, with a 37.3% three-point shooting percentage.

He also had a prominent role in the FIBA Europe Cup, where he contributed 13.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and one assist per game with the Reggio Emilia squad.

It would not be his first experience in the Liga Endesa. Cheatham previously played for Fuenlabrada and later wore the Covirán Granada jersey during the 2023/24 season. His career also includes stints in Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Israel, and Italy.
