jul 14 2026Kyle Wiltjer will continue with Umana Reyer Venezia next season. The Canadian power forward has renewed his contract with the Italian club and will begin his fourth year with the team.
Wiltjer comes off a strong campaign with Venezia, helping the team reach the Italian league finals. Additionally, he was named Player of the Week twice and earned a spot on the All-Third Team of Serie A.
In the 2025/26 EuroCup, the Canadian averaged 13.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 19 games, establishing himself as a reliable piece thanks to his outside shooting, experience and ability to space the floor from the power forward position.
At 33 years old, Wiltjer boasts an extensive career, with stints at Olympiacos, Unicaja, Tenerife, Turk Telekom, China, the NBA and the G League. He is also an international player for Canada and one of those players who always brings structure and scoring to any roster.
Venezia thus secures the continuity of a proven interior player, with experience and offensive firepower to continue competing in Italy and Europe.
