The Coruña squad had to dig deep to overcome CB Ourense and secure victory in the final minutes. Lukas Uleckas led the attack with 19 points for Leyma Coruña.

Leyma Básquet Coruña advanced to the Copa Galicia final on Saturday after defeating Club Ourense Baloncesto 94-89 in an intense semifinal played at the Multiusos Fontes do Sar. The Coruña team had to rally from a double-digit deficit and put together a dominant second half to secure their spot in the championship game.

The game started with Ourense in control, much sharper and more solid in the opening minutes. COB reached 4-16 and closed the first quarter with a comfortable lead. Leyma's response allowed them to gradually cut into the deficit during the second period, though the team coached by Moncho López maintained control and went into halftime ahead.

After the break, Carles Marco's squad completely transformed their performance. Greater defensive intensity, a faster pace of play, and the contributions of Alonzo Verge and Lukas Uleckas (Coruña's leading scorer with 19 points) allowed Leyma to gain ground and take the lead for the first time since the opening 2-0. The Coruña team capped off their comeback with a spectacular third quarter, leaving the score at 70-63.

In the final period, CB Ourense refused to quit and closed the gap on the scoreboard. However, Leyma managed the tense moments well and found in Lukas Uleckas one of their primary offensive weapons. The Lithuanian wing responded with two consecutive three-pointers as the game entered its decisive phase and sealed the victory for Leyma Coruña.
