The competition enters its first midweek matchday with eight games spread across Wednesday and Thursday, featuring several crucial contests where teams look to maintain momentum or bounce back after opening-round results. Defending league champion Valencia Basket hosts Meins Avenida seeking their first dominant performance at the Roig Arena.
Second matchday of the season and another opportunity to continue growing in a relentless start to the campaign, with the first midweek matchday continuing next Sunday.
The season's first midweek matchday is here, with two days—Wednesday and Thursday—packed with basketball. Wednesday will see defending league champion Valencia Basket take on historic side Meins Avenida. Following an impressive opening performance, Raquel Romo's squad arrives at the Roig Arena to face a Valencia Basket team seeking to recapture good form. Javier Torralba's side, meanwhile, wants to rediscover their best version and deliver a strong debut at the Roig Arena.
At the same time (20:00), Inversus Gernika Bizkaia will face Casademont Zaragoza in a matchup between two teams that opened with victories. Among the Basque squad, Joy Adams will be one of the players to watch after being a standout performer in the first matchday. The American led her team's win with 30 efficiency points.
Thursday will feature the rest of the matchday's games. At 19:00, Mirai Euskotren will host newly promoted Celta Femxa Zorka in a contest pitting two projects with ambitious goals against each other. Vigo's squad, coached by Cristina Cantero, face a new challenge in their return to the top tier. The Galician team will look to build on their proposal and compete evenly against a Mirai Euskotren side that secured their first win at the Pazo.
Additionally, Movistar Estudiantes visit Mendizorrotza following a thrilling opener against Spar Girona. The 'Women In Black' claimed a last-second victory thanks to a spectacular three-pointer by Isa Latorre at the buzzer. Meanwhile, Made Urieta's squad arrives after falling to Baxi Ferrol in a finish that left the Vitoria team shaken. Now they'll look to bounce back in front of their home crowd.
At 20:00, two more games will take place. One will see Azulmarino Palma face Spar Girona at Fontajau. Alberto Antuña's squad arrives riding high after their historic opening victory over the defending league champion. Facing them, Spar Girona seeks to react after consecutive defeats—a setback in the EuroLeague preseason and their league opener. Another matchday contest will pit Impulso 360 CAB Estepona against Durán M. Ensino. Both teams are chasing their first win of the season.
Shortly after, Cadí La Seu will host a surging Innova-TSN Leganés, who arrive with the player of the moment: Aminata Sangaré, last matchday's MVP. For their part, Hozono Global Jairis will make their debut at the Fausto Vicent against Baxi Ferrol, who after securing their first win at A Malata will look to surprise again and put Bernat Canut's squad on the ropes.
