Schumacher played last season with the Long Island Nets in the G League, where he averaged 6.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 16 games.
He also saw significant playing time in the NBA Summer League with the Phoenix Suns, posting 10.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3 assists in 23 games.
A Seattle University product, Schumacher will be entering his third professional season and his first significant experience in Europe. Lietkabelis adds an outside player with scoring ability, playmaking skills and depth rotation value.
His Swiss passport also increases his value in the European market and can facilitate his adaptation to a demanding competition like the Lithuanian league.
